  1. Today, I will compare the workload between China and U.S. If you were a Chinese student, you would have a heavy workload everyday. If you were a US student, you would only have a light workload. If you were a Chinese student, you would not have group work most time. If you were a US student, you would have a lot of group work to learn how to work with a group to listen other students opinion. If you were a Chinese student, you would learn the all kinds of knowledge, and this will help you know a lot. If you were a US student, you would chose want you interest in. If you were a Chinese student, you would do the homework till 1.pm. If you were US student, you would finish most of your homework at school or class. There are also similar part about workload between Chinese student and US student. Both of Chinese student and US student pay attention to their homework. If they had any question about homework or class, they would ask instructor. both of them are needed to finish their homework on time and could not copy others homework.

  2. There are a huge different between my country Kuwait and the US in terms of time. First, people in the US are strict in the time. In contrast, Kuwaitis people do not respect the time as Americans did. Next, Kuwaitis people sleep a very long time, but Americans sleep just 6 or 8 hours everyday. Teachers in Kuwait give students a long time in the tests; on the other hand, teachers in the US are very strict about the time. In my country, students take more time to study than Americans students do. Parent in the US and Kuwait want their children benefit in every minute they have. Both countries have 24 hour in the day. Both Americans and Kuwaitis people love to finish their work on time, also both of them love to have a long free time. Finally, I think the time in the US is more valuable than in my country.

  4. There are many differences and similarities between teachers in SA,Saudi Arabia, and US. First let's talk about the differences. The mine different is they do not work together as in Us,for example, in SA, we have have schools for girls and schools for boys. Also, in SA, the teachers are full time teachers, but in US they can work as a part time. In addition, the average salary in SA is lower than in US. For example, the average salary in SA is 35 thousand dollars in a year, but in US is 50 thousand dollars in a year. Second, the similarities between are less than the differences. Both of them use the same tools. For example, smart board, projector, and computers. Also, the teachers in SA have the same level of education in US. Moreover, in SA, they are friendly and respectful as the same in US. The average age of teachers is the same in US.

  5. Religion in the US versus Taiwan
Every country has many different religions. In Taiwan most of people are Taoist, and in the US most people are Christian. The most difference between Taoism and Christian is Taoist thinks everything can be god like people (Matsu), animal (tiger) or thing (stone). On the other hand, Christian just believes Jesus is the only one god. In Taiwan, someone might be Christian and read Bible, but I have never heard someone is Taoist in the USA. Taoist always takes incense to worship, but Christian just closes their hands to pray. Christian has baptized for baby. Taoist usually eat vegetables in every month first day and 15th. Taoist go to the temple, and Christian go to the church.

  6. There are some similarities and differences between Korea and USA etiquette. First, When we go into home in Korea, we have to take off shoes. However in the USA, we don't have to take off shoes at home and this culture is very inconvenient to me. Second, one of the difference between Korea and USA is the way of greeting etiquette. In Korea, the way of greeting is lowering one's head for older person. However, in the USA, the way of greeting is light hugging or saying "Hi". But the way of greeting etiquette in Korea and USA have similarity that when they first meet someone, they shake their hand. Third, in the USA every restaurant has "tip price" obviously. However in Korea, It is depends on personal choice so they don't have to pay the money for tip. In Korea, people are not obliged to give tip. Lastly, in Korea, when we first meet someone, It is general to ask about age. But in America, which asking about someone's age is very excuse.

  7. In the US, each person in a house have their own cars, and everybody uses cars to go to school and go to work. While in Viet Nam, we often use motorbike as the first option to move. If you are driving on the freeway in the US and have a traffic,it will takes you a lot of time to get to your destination. However, in Viet Nam, you only need a few minutes to drive. The fuel for cars in the US is very cheaper than the fuel for cars in Viet Nam. If you pay for fuel in Viet Nam, it's gonna charges you double price in the US. Cars in US is also cheaper than cars in Viet Nam. when we drive a car in the US, it is in the high quality and have a lot of advantages, because the roads are wide, clean, and beautiful. In addition, it's safe, because if you are driving in Viet Nam, you will see a lot of accidents in a day. Unlike the citizens in the US, most people in Viet Nam don't care about their safe, they just run without safety conditions like helmet, brake, and seatbelt, so the quality of the transpotation in Viet Nam is not as well as the US. In summary, i think the transportation in the US is better than the transportation in Viet Nam

  8. I am living USA, but I was born in China. I think that the United States is more freedom than China. For example, you can't complain government and censure government if government make something wrong in China. But if government had made something wrong or bad in the U.S, you would have talked with government. If you have bought something inappropriate in China, you cannot return to salesman. But if you have bought something inappropriate in America, you can return to salesman among few days. In the 2013, I went to beach with my mother in China and we needed to paid money before we entered beach, but these are free in the United States. You can drink at any age, if you live in China. But you must over 21 years old if you lived in the United States. In conclusion, I think that the United States is more freedom than China.

  10. We all know that money is one of the important things in people life. There are many similarities and differences between country's. For example, the United state of America and my country the United arab Emirates. First, The Dollar is the currency of the US; on the other hand , UAE currency is Dirhams. Both of the currency's have different shape and design. For instance, US dollar have presidents and historical people pictures on it. Likewise, The UAE Dirhams have pictures too but, the picture on the dirhams show some of the historical places such as; forts and mosques, and it also shows some pictures of the Emirates culture. Also, the color of the two bills is different. Specifically, the US Dollar is green and the UAE dirhams have many colors. Second, the citizens of the US have goodt jobs and most of there discipline people saves money. As a result, they must pay taxes so, it is not easy for people who have poor jobs to save and pay taxes. Instead, In my country the jobs are very great and most of our people could save money because we don't have any taxes to pay. Third, the similarities I could tell about is both of the two country uses cash and credit card. In addition, they both values there currency by the value of gold. In brief, We all know that money is so valuable to many people and its something that people cannot live without it in this world. All world money have it's own currency and different price of value.

  11. Fun activities in the United States versus my country. Fun activities in United States is more exciting than my country. For example, amusement park (roller park), party and rocker climbing. However, sometimes I feel scared, so I just choose holiday or vacation to have fun activities. In my opinion, Chinese activities are normally, such as jaunt, sing in KTV and date (eat food or watch movies). Therefore, I also have fun activities every weekends. The same activity is going shopping. I really like to go shopping, because there are many product which you want to buy. Moreover, there are two different styles of fun activities but still have the same activity is going shopping.

  12. Traditions in the United States versus China. In the U.S., I think traditions is more open, people if want to say something, they can be expressed directly, don't need too much think about that right. But in China, our traditions are more conservative, one person wants to say something, he need to think about more and more that right, it will be cause to other trouble. For example, I can directly call the name of a person in the U.S., even this man is my elder. However, I can't call the name of a person in China, I need to add respectful name, otherwise I will be called a impolite girl. In conclusion, traditions are very different between the U.S. and China.
